Looking South from Munich over the flat countryside with the Alps in the distance. It is a summer evening and the storm clouds cover most of the sky except a thin crack of clearness silhouetting the mountains. The sky is dark and threatening, but even so, small amounts of light penetrate the darkness

Die Sicht über München mit ihrer weiten Ebene und den Alpen in der Ferne Es ist ein warmer Sommerabend und ein erfrischender Regenschauer hat die Luft angenehm abgekühlt. Der Himmel ist noch von Gewitterwolken bedeckt, außer ein dünner Lichtstreifen der die Alpen erstrahlen lässt. Die Wolkendecke ist beängstigend dunkel, doch die Sonne kämpft gegen die Dunkelheit an und zeigt sich bereits schon wieder in kleinen Lichtblicken.
