Looking out over the north sea across a field of summer barley in the direction of Holland . Dunnottar castle is just out of site over the edge of the cliff. The wind makes waves in the barley and grass. The technique and colours remind me of Van Gough, so it is quite appropriately taking a bow in his direction.

DEUTSCH

Die weite Sicht über die raube Nordsee. Weit in der Ferne liegt Holland im Vordergrund blüht ein sommerliches Getreidefeld. Die Wettergepeitschte Schlossruine von Dunnottar liegt gleich hinter der nächsten steil ins Meer abfallenden Klippe. Die Wellen und Muster die die milde Seebriese in den langen Halmen des Feldes hinterlässt erinnert mich an die Technik und Farben die Van Gogh benutzte. Ich sende Ihm einen Gruß in seine Richtung über das Meer.
